A new version of dexter has just been released, faster than we expected. The problem with the previous version was that it would not install properly on Solaris. Apologies to anyone who may have experienced problems with dexter on that particular OS. For related reasons, our new package, dextergui, will not be available on CRAN for a day or two.
On the other hand, we have a brand new function for profile analysis in dexter. Developed by Norman D. Verhelst, this is a kind of diagnostic test that (i) is quite cheap to compute, and (ii) offers useful insights. Do check it out if you have not heard about it.
